Imported from Europe, Pirates' Lair offers a BMW produced Workshop Manual on CD-ROM for the following bikes... K1200S and the2002-05 K1200LT. In case you are curious.. The K1200S CD is specific to that bike. Not sure at this time whether there will be an "R" version CD.

Requires Windows 95/98+/ ME/XP Language selections on every CD include English, German, French, Dutch, Italian & Portuguese. While these CD's are specified by the manufacturer as for PC's Only, Mac users see note below. .Just drop it in and begin to save money. In case you're curious, dealers charge $125 for this same CD!! While the factory CD's are comprehensive showing all part numbers and virtually all service routines, the CD's do NOT include wiring schematics. Those are available to designated BMW mechanics only. Become one with your bike.. learn how it works and do your own repairs. It's a Zen thing. Warning: For obvious reasons, there are no refunds on opened CD's...

Note to Mac Users: Information from my source in Europe states that this CD is for "Windows only". Apparently, this is NOT "entirely" correct. A fellow K12'er sent this in:
"I have a Macintosh and the CD works just fine on my Mac. Just go into the data folder, double click on the English folder if yours is multilingual and double click the K1200RS.pdf file. It'll come right up. This is assuming you have Adobe Acrobat installed and if you don't, it's free, go get it. It doesn't auto launch like on the lesser desirable platform but it's the same old manual on either. This was also the case with the RT CD manual."
