Verholen K1200RS/GT Short Shift Kit

The Short Shifter Kit from Verholen of Germany is one of those items we shouldn't have to be spending our hard earned money on. BMW should have put these on the bike at the factory. Missing shifts due to the long shift throw? Having to preload before every up shift? It's a common problem. Here's the solution. This kit will shorten the overly long gear shift throw of any model year K1200RS or GT substantially making upshifts quicker, easier, and dare I say it...as good as any Japanese bike? Install is under 1 hour with basic tools. Simply replace the factory pieces with these and live..er.. shift happily ever after. Trust me.. it makes all the difference in the world.

Install is very straight forward (see link below). No need to remove any body work. Just remove the heat shield, a 2 screws that secure the factory shifter lever and linkage arm , and install the new kit. No other mods necessary. Remus owners will cuss a little due to limited install hand space.
