Pirates' Lair is proud to offer the complete line of Wilbers Suspension Products for the BMW K1200LT. Suspention getting old and tired? Logging a lot of miles and your bike is feeling every bump or wallowing in the sweepers? If your factory shocks have 20K+ on them, they are as useless as tits on a boar. Replace them NOW. Check out this quality alternative. Besides the packages offered below, front or rear shocks can be ordered separately with any options. Call for details at 828.628.7093 E ST As are all the Wilbers Shocks, these are fully rebuildable and come with a full 5 year warranty. All servicing is done in here in the US. On most bikes, the adjustments can be done from the rider's seat. Each shock comes with a rebound adjustment of 22 clicks, a wider range then any other product on the market.

Upon receipt of your order, I will forward the info to the distributor and your Wilbers will be built specifically for you, your riding style, and YOUR bike. Expect 4 weeks from the day the order goes in to delivery to your door. Your shocks will be drop shipped directly to you, by-passing me.

When you place your order, I will need the following info:
1. Ride height: With the Wilbers shocks your seat/ride height will be about 1/4" TALLER than your factory shocks. If you want your bike to remain the same height or SHORTER than stock.. you will need to specify when ordering otherwise your bike will ride 1/4" higher once the new shocks are on.. Do you want your bike RAISED or LOWER than factory? We can do that! By how much?By how much? 1/4", 1/2", 1", 1.5"?
Note: Don't forget... if you choose to lower your bike you may have to lower your kickstand and possibly your center stand. Raising the ride height of more then 1/2" will cause both tires to still make contact with the floor when on the center stand. Adding some material (welding ) to the bottom of the center stand will prevent this.
2. Riding style: Commuting? Sport touring? Touring only? Old codger?
3. Weight: Need riders weight with full rider gear... do you ride solo mostly? with full bags mostly? With passenger mostly? With passenger AND full bags? What percentage of the time are you two-up? Are you a sherpa?

LT Option #1 Front 630 / Rear 640
This option offers the same technology as the more expensive versions without compromising quality, handling characteristics or durability. This pair is suggested as a simple replacement for a worn out system or damaged shocks... for every day normal sport or touring riding. Unlike the more expensive versions, preload adjustments are made with a spanner tool (included) and there is no adjustable compression damping. Teflon guided self aligning eye bearings and oversized CNC machined aluminum components are state of the art. Both front and rear shock offer 22 clicks of rebound damping adjustment, more than the factory or competitive versions.

A Lowering Option to reduce the seat height by a definitive amount of up to 1.5 inch (you have to tell us how much "lowering" you need), is available at NO EXTRA CHARGE. This option will lower the bike at front and rear, so that handling characteristics are maintained.

A variable height/length adjustment - Option 629, for +/- 1/2" riding height (based on the stock height) can be added to front and/or rear shock at $85 per shock. Call for details.

LT Option# 1 Wilbers Front & Rear Combo : $1113.00 (Delivered) Discontinued 4/18/07! Soon to Be Replaced by HyperPro!

LT Option #2 Front 630 / Rear 641
This pair offers the standard front with a competition level rear shock with adjustable HIGH and LOW speed compression damping, with hose mounted reservoir for the street rider who wants more ajustability. This rear shock offers 22 clicks each of high and low-speed compression damping, as well as 22 clicks of rebound damping. One added benefit to an external reservoir is that the hydraulic oil receives additional cooling, away from the action of the moving springs. If you want to fine tune the suspension of your bike, improve road-holding, and aren't constantly going back and forth from full load and/or with a passenger to solo riding .. these are the pair for you.

LT Option #3 Front 630 / Rear 640 with option 625
This pair offers the standard front and rear shock (see package No. 1) with external preload adjuster for the street rider who changes weight/load often. The front and rear shock offer 22 clicks for the rebound adjustment each. The hydraulic pre-load adjuster is located at the rear of the bike and operates a small hydraulic cylinder above the coil spring. By turning the red hand knob, the small hydraulic cylinder will be expanded and compresses the coil spring to -pre-load it, to compensate for the additional weight (passenger or luggage). Preloading the spring will maintain the same height of the bike, and prevent bottoming out under load conditions.

A Lowering option to reduce the seat height by a definitive amount of up to 1.5 inch (you have to tell us how much "lowering" you need), is available at NO EXTRA CHARGE. This option will lower the bike at front and rear, so that the handling characteristics are maintained.

LT Option #4: Front 630 / Rear 641 with option 625
This pair is basically the top of line. The front is standard and the rear offers both an external preload adjuster and an external compression reservoir for an infinite combination of hydraulic settings for street and/or track use. The front shock offers 22 clicks of rebound adjustment.
