The design is impressive even by my anal standards. You can mount the unit on either the left or right hand sides (or both) giving you install flexibility. Install consists of using 2 screws and takes less than 10 minutes. Another cool feature... as the mount has two ball bearings, you can adjust both the height and angle of the platform to your demented needs.

Either mount fits every radar detector on the market. Honestly.. these are the sleekest mounts I've ever seen. I deem them worthy. The BMW Control Mount fits the BMW K1300S, K1200S, K1200R, K1200R Sport, R1200GS, R1200ST, F800S, and the K1300GT.. The Mirror Mount fits the 2006-08 K1200GT, as well as the 2001 and later K1200LT, R1150RT, & R1100S . It does NOT fit the K1300GT.

2012 Version Mounts: Here ye ..here ye.. The 2012 version of these mounts come with ROUND platforms. After extensive testing, 90% of our customers hated the round platforms so we sent those back (because we're lookin' out for you) and had Techmount install the previous version rectangular platform as seen in pic above right. FYI.. any mount you purchase from Pirates Lair will have the rectangular platform unless a round platform is requested. We generally keep a few in stock. Your choice. So it is written.. so let it be done.
